British born O.C beauty
Mischa Barton has been voted the UK's most eligible woman.
Over 3,000 people voted the stunning actress top for sex appeal, talent, star quality and cash in the list compiled by men's magazine FHM.
20-year-old Mischa's film debut occurred in 1998 with the critically lauded Sundance favourite Lawn Dogs, but it was her role as Marissa Cooper in US hit show The O.C which catapulted her to global fame.

Naomi Watts, who was also born in the UK, made it to number two in the poll.

Joss Stone came in behind Naomi, closely followed by Royal Zara Philips in fifth place.
FHM editor Ross Brown said that these days men look for more than just a pretty face.
He said: "Our eligible list consists of much more than just sex appeal and our readers recognise a good catch when they see one."

Tyra Banks went to the trouble on her daytime TV Talk show of proving that her breasts are real and they're spectacular. Now the host is taking those breasts on parade to show her viewers exactly what goes on inside a strip club.
In Touch Weekly will report exclusively this week that Tyra will do a little detective work - as a stripper.
Her goal, to find out what men really do in strip clubs. (Spend lots of money on lap dances perhaps?)
The supermodel would of course be recognized, so she transforms her look a bit with a latex nose, a wig and contact lenses.
It worked - she is hardly recognizable.
But Tyra goes all out and even does some work on the stripper pole. The short item does not say if Tyra goes topless, but the best guess is no.
The show is scheduled to air on March 1.

all set to star as Charlize
Theron's lesbian lover in an upcoming biopic of Dusty Springfield.
The upcoming project, based on the life of singer Dusty Springfield who died in
1999 after losing her battle with breast cancer, will be directed by critically
acclaimed director Ang Lee. Ang Lee is resting on laurels over the success of
his gay cowboy romance movie "Brokeback
Mountain".
Kate Moss, 32, is in talks of playing one of the singer's early loves.
Kate's character breaks Dusty's heart and sparks off the chain of tumultuous
relationships that dogged her throughout life.
Charlize Theron shouldn't have nay problems with playing a lesbian since she
won an Oscar for portraying one in movie Monster, Kate Moss, on the other hand,
is a total novice in the movie business if you don't count the short movie of
her snorting coke. If only her filmography would be as extensive as her nudography then she might be perfect for the role.

Paris Hilton allegedly made a lesbian sex tape with a Playboy pin-up, it is being claimed. The hotel heiress reportedly made the "horniest videotape of all time" with Playboy beauty Nicole Lenz, according to a published report.
The model claims she rolled around naked with Paris - who unintentionally starred in X-rated home movie 'One Night In Paris' with ex-boyfriend Rick Solomon - for the camera in 2003.
The pair allegedly checked into an expensive suite at the Bellagio Hotel, in Las Vegas, after a night out partying when things allegedly got very heated.

Lenz is quoted in Britain's News of the World newspaper as saying: "The moment we were in the room Paris had only one thing on her mind - sex ... We lied down on a king size bed and took it in turns to play with each other. It wasn't long before we were naked and rolling around together."

Tapati Rapa Nui, a yearly Easter Island festival since 1975, began as a song and poetry festival to attract more tourists to this most isolated inhabited part of our world. Nowadays it's a big festival that spans over 14 days where Rapa Nui islanders remember their ancestral habits. There are activities and competitions spinning around the election of a beauty queen. This year's candidates for Tapati Rapa Nui 2006 Queen were
Tamy Rapu Atan and
Vai A Heva Icka Riroroko.
The candidates for the queen amass points from the competitors, all of whom are competing in the name of one or the other of the queen candidates. The whole competition looks like small Olympic Games. During the 14 days of the festival each day there would be different competitions like making of traditional clothing, carving of a moai statues and traditional wooden objects, fishing with bamboo sticks, underwater fishing, production of shell necklaces, making of typical garments from natural materials, rowing, horse race, bananatreetrunk race, Rapa Nui Triathlon, kai kai (string figures), body painting, native dancing, Rapa Nui tango...
The most amazing part is that both candidates for the queen participate in most of the above events, that's what, in my opinion, makes this the hardest beauty queen competition a girl can be in. The hottest part of the competition was presentation of traditional clothing when both candidates changed their clothes like five times and stripped down to a bikini explaining to a detail from which material their clothing was made of. Unfortunately there is no big prize for the Queen at the end of the competition just the honor to represent a small island and it's culture for one year.

In the surest sign yet that curling has reached the big time, the stone-and-broom game has joined other Olympic endeavors with a nude calendar of its own.
“It’s about time,” said Paal Trulsen, the skip of the Norwegian men’s team. “It’s a fun thing, but we want curling to be just like other sports. We had the doping thing, now we have the calendar.”
The Ana Arce Team Sponsorship Calendar is being peddled during the Turin Olympics as curling makes its quadrennial appearance in the spotlight. The black-and white-pictures feature female curlers from Italy, Denmark, Spain, England, Poland, Germany, Austria and Canada, with a brief description of their athletic and sometimes academic achievements.
“Who better to represent the month of March, when many curlers are thinking of Taarnby, than Camilla Jensen?!” the calendar asks — a rhetorical question if there ever was one.
“If you have curled in charming Kitzbuhel” — and who hasn’t? — “you probably know the equally charming Toth sisters!” says the April caption under the photo of Austrian champion Claudia Toth.
Since the models are distinctly without their uniforms, the only sign of a curling connection is the stone used as a prop in the cover photo of Claudia Toth, the Austrian skip who used to date U.S. skier Bode Miller. The months are numbered 1-12, in Roman numerals, to make the calendar useful for curling buffs — er, fans — around the world who don’t want to bother with translations.
September’s model is Lynsay Ryan, a Canadian provincial champion and the daughter of Olympic gold medalist Penny Schantz-Henderson and world champion Pat Ryan. Arce, whose picture graces May, has represented Andorra and Spain at four European Championships.
The money from the calendar goes to the national programs in the participants’ countries.
“This is a tasteful, artistic product that will help the athletes raise much needed funds for training and competition,” Arce said. “This proves that curlers are athletes. Strong but graceful, and of course very beautiful.”

This year, according to the Star, she simply didn't feel like celebrating. "She's in a totally different place than she thought she'd be at 37," says a close friend of Jen. "She's almost 40, and she has no husband, no baby and no Oscar. I think it's a scary time for her."
However, Aniston will set temperatures soaring in her new romantic comedy "The Break Up" by wandering around naked and hairless in one sexy scene.

Paris Hilton, we are told (although probably not together - shame!)
To wrap up this week, a few other bits and bobs - * After the major launch of the new series of 24 on Sky, Im going to prom the fact again that its only a week now, to series two of adult drama Rescue Me (at 10pm, next Sunday on Sky One). You really should give it a go, if you havent already, dramatic, funny and with some pretty hot action at times (and Im not just talking about them being New York firefighters trying to cope with life after 9/11)
For those who miss their "fix" and cant wait for series three of The L Word on Living Tv this Summer, it appears we'll be getting repeats of series two, late, from later on next month of the lesbian drama which seems to please all areas of sexual orientation. * Good news also about quality movie channel FilmFour. Again, depending what you have available to you, it appears the channel will be switching this year from a channel you pay that little bit extra for, to being more widely available, in the world of all these more channels made available to us in various ways these days. Therefore, better quality titles, more accessible - including in that, much more celebrity nudity material! Not bad.

Keira Knightley has revealed that posing in the buff for Vanity Fair magazine made her cringe - not because she has reservations about nudity, but because her legs weren't shaved.
The Oscar nominee, who appears with actress
Scarlett Johansson on the publication's front cover, said that she had been horrified when she had been asked to pose nude, because she was afraid that the whole world would see her hairy legs.
“We got there and they said: 'Do you mind doing it in the nude?'. And we said: 'What?' I thought: 'I can't. I haven't shaved my legs.' And they said: 'Don't worry we will retouch,'” The Sun quoted her, as telling Access Hollywood.
However, Knightley now finds the whole episode hilarious, and thinks that it will make a good tale to relate to her grandkids.
“It was hilarious, I loved it. It makes me giggle every time I see it. I think it is something to show the grandchildren,” she added.
