Sometimes a role for a movie demands a big sacrifice from an
actor or actress. For example Natalie Portman and Ornella Muti had to shave of
their long, beautiful hair. Once bald, one could have easily
mistaken them for twins.
Natalie Portman had to shave of her hair for a role in her new movie V For
Vendetta that is set for a wide release today. Judging by the trailer, the movie
looks a lot like one of my all time favorite movies Equilibrium, so it should
be fun to watch. I almost forgot to mention that Hugho Weaving (Agent Smith from Matrix) is V, one more reason to see the movie.
Ornella Muti had to go a step further in movie La Ragazza di Trieste, not only
did she shave off her hair, she also appeared nude in several scenes in that
movie.
