Esquire Magazine's "Sexiest Woman Alive" at a ceremony in New York.
Biel, 23, topped the poll thanks to her work on her latest film
Elizabethtown, which also stars Orlando Bloom and
Kirsten Dunst.
Esquire editor-in-chief David Granger said: "She's been an underground
icon to the generation of men who are coming of age now. She's been
this unexpected but iconic figure for a long time.
"She's talented and about to burst on to the scene. She's fantastic."
The former TV star takes over the crown from last year's winner,
Angelina Jolie.
The magazine also named the hottest women of their generation as Gong Li, 29,
Sharon Stone, 47, and Rene Russo, 51.

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline reportedly fear a steamy home video is about to be made public.
A member of the singer’s entourage is believed to have copied one of
the couple’s personal video tapes – allegedly recorded while Britney
was still expecting baby son Sean Preston - and is threatening to
release it.
A source told America’s US Weekly magazine: "He has threatened to
release raunchy footage of the two taken before Spears looked pregnant.”
During her pregnancy, Britney confessed her sex life was the best it had ever been.
The sexy singer insisted her bedroom romps with husband Kevin had been red hot since she conceived.
She confessed at the time: "I think it's the best. Sex is crazy good."
Britney also stunned viewers on her reality TV show Chaotic after she was shown begging Kevin for sex.
The blonde babe, who was not married to former dancer Kevin when the
footage was shot, brands the couple's bedroom antics "so good" before
begging her 26-year-old lover to let her take the day off from her Onyx
tour last year "to just f*** all day".

The woman who has been making
Tyra Banks' life a misery came face-to-face with the supermodel on her TV chat show. Adult film star Tyra Banxxx
stunned the model/TV star when she appeared on the front cover of porn
industry magazine Xtreme, dressed up to look like the real Tyra. In a
taped segment on her daily show, which will air on Thursday, Banks
confronted her doppelganger and declared she's taking her name back.
Banks also told Banxxx, whose real name is Alana, how shocked she was
upon first hearing that the Xtreme magazine cover girl was using her
name. She says, "For a second I was like, 'Did they put my head on
someone else's body?' I thought that it really did look like me. The
first thing that went through my head... It wasn't anger, it was more
of a curiosity, and an empathy like, 'Where does this girl come from...
And what led her to this?'" Banxxx has agreed to retire her name,
insisting she never intended to offend her heroine. She tells the real
Tyra, "Growing up, everyone always said I should be a model and
everyone said I looked like you... You're an inspiration to me." By way
of thanks for letting the name go without legal action, Banks has
offered to help her doppelganger escape the adult film world and find
employment in another field.

Tara Reid has branded pal
Paris Hilton "stupid" for making a homemade sex video.
The sexy actress, who is close friends with the hotel heiress, claims
Paris was foolish for agreeing to film a private sex tape and insists
she would never get into porn herself.
She told Britain's Arena magazine: "What she's done in her career and
what I've done are two different things. I've never done porn. I've
never made one. I'm not stupid enough to put myself on video."
Paris was left red-faced after ex-boyfriend Rick Solomon released
X-rated movie 'One Night In Paris', featuring the blonde beauty
performing full and oral sex, after they split.
The 'Simple Life' star originally started legal proceedings to stop the
tape being released but dropped her action after agreeing to accept a
share of the profits.

British actress Kelly Brook has a rival now, for
Sienna Miller has become one of the favorites to the next Bond Girl part in the 007 movie.
Three days ago, according to Daily Star magazine, film producer Barbara
Broccoli went to see Miller playing in “As You Like It”, at the West
End, and liked her.
"She loved her. The look, the acting, the presence," a source revealed. "She is certain Sienna has what it takes to match Bond.
Word has it that she could play Vesper Lynd - the role that was first
made famous by Ursula Andress - who created that iconic scene in Dr. No
when she emerged from the sea in a bikini with a knife strapped to her
thigh."
British newspaper The Sun reported yesterday that Miller, 23, was invited to an audition for the forthcoming film Casino Royale.
A Bond insider says: "She'd make a great Bond girl. She's already a hit with the directors because of her amazing figure.
Bond girls have never been stick-thin girls. They celebrate beauty and curves. It's all hinges on her audition."

American actor Tom Sizemore, who rose to fame in Saving Private Ryan
and Blackhawk Down, has a new starring role in a home-made porn movie,
distributors said today.
The 43-year-old, who is in court-ordered drug rehabilitation after he
violated probation handed down for drug possession, will allow an adult
movie firm to market his sexual escapades provided he gets a slice of
the profits.
"This is the maraschino cherry on the banana split of bad luck I have
been having," the self-proclaimed sex-addict Sizemore said in a
statement issued by Los Angeles-based sex film studio Vivid
Entertainment.
The video, to be released on a 70-minute DVD by Vivid on October 19
under the title The Tom Sizemore Sex Scandal, shows the burly bad-boy
cavorting in hard-core scenes with up to three women at a time, Vivid
said.
Los Angeles judge Judge Paula Adele Mabrey in July ordered Sizemore
confined to a drug rehabilitation centre for at least two months after
he admitted trying to fake a drug test by using a prosthetic device
when giving a urine sample.
On September 15th, the judge ordered Sizemore to spend another 30 days
in the rehab centre, but said he can leave the centre to work and
attend charity events.
Sizemore is also free on bail pending his appeal in a separate case in
which he was sentenced to 17 months in jail and four months of drug
rehabilitation in a case involving his ex-girlfriend, former Hollywood
madam
Heidi Fleiss.
In that case he was found guilty of domestic violence, criminal
threats, vandalism and making obscene and harassing phone calls against
Fleiss.

dolphins caught in a tuna net - is the crappiest movie sex scene of all
time.
In awarding the crown to Paul Verhoeven's lamentable waste of celluloid, Empire magazine has at least ensured that it will go down in history for something besides possibly being the worst film ever made*.
An Empire spokesman said of the outrage: "It's supposed
to be the best sex in the world but, as Berkley thrashes around in the
water, it looks more like the first ten minutes of Jaws."
Well said. Sloppy seconds in the list of shame went to Jeremy Irons and Juliette Binoche for Damage, with Heather Graham and Joseph Fiennes humping their way to third in Killing me Softly.
Disappointingly, Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss in Matrix Reloaded
only merited ninth spot, although it's good to see veteran rumpy-pumpy
merchant Joan Collins honoured at 10 for her 1978 coupling with Oliver
Tobias in The Stud.
We'll leave the last word to Empire, which carries this reasoned analysis of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez in Gigli:
"When Ben's chauvinistic mobster Larry Gigli gets it on with J-Lo's
lesbian assassin Ricki, the scene is cold corny and lame. But what
really sends it over the top is Ricki's infamous 'It's turkey time,
gobble, gobble' as a call to oral foreplay. Unfeasibly bad, the pair,
while sexy as hell on their own, together here couldn't generate enough
heat to toast bread."
