I should probably post this under February's highlights, but since I was away for most of the month, I filed it under March, when I returned from my vacation. Nude pictorials of the world's top models for Love magazine, by Fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, were probably among the most anticipated pictorials of the year from the first time we were presented with the

We got our first

Julia Alexandratou, a Greek model and singer, showed their countryman that even when you're on your knees, you can make shitload of money.
Her sex tape was selling like hotcakes, with over 200.000 copies sold in less than 10 days.
Although
Peaches Geldof probably didn't have anything to do with
her leaked photos (apart from posing topless for her one night stand), it didn't stop bosses at Miss Ultimo to fire her on the spot.
Australian model
Lara Bingle also had problems with her ex, who
texted a topless photo of her to his friends and after that the photo quickly spread all around the world, once it was posted on the internet.

After waiting for three years for Playboy to release a subsequent decade volume to their original Playboy Cover to Cover the 50s release, they finally came out with a new volume.
Well, kind off, instead of releasing a new decade on a DVD every six months as planned, they came out with the complete collection:
Playboy Cover to Cover Hard Drive - Every Issue From 1953 to 2010.
On the 250 GB USB drive you get every issue of the magazine as it appeared in print. From the first issue featuring
Marilyn Monroe in December 1953 to the December 2009 issue, which featured
Joanna Krupa and
Chelsea Handler on separate covers.
All the issues take up only about 20GB of space on the hard drive, so you'll have additional 230GB to fill with your favorite porn.
As in the 50s DVD release, magazine browsing is done through Bondi software, which is compatible with Windows and MAC operating systems. Although, I think you'll have to download a patch from
covertocover.com to run it on 64 bit system.
I am still waiting for my hard drive to arrive, so I can't comment about the quality of the scanned magazines. Some of you might remember that
I bitched about the difference in superior quality of the free online issues presented at playboyarchive.com in comparison to the one on 50s DVD, even though there was more than enough free space left on DVD to put crispier scans of the magazine on the DVD. I only found
one review of Playboy Cover to Cover Hard Drive that touches this subject and it says:
"Zoom levels are useless, and it's very hard to read the text or get a great view of specific photos."
Above sounds awfully like they did it again, and put over compressed scans of magazines on the hard drive, even though they had additional 230 GB of free space to make it right this time.
So, what's the price of owning this fabulous collection? You can
get it for just under $300 at Amazon. International customers will have to buy it from
www.playboyarchive.com, since Amazon doesn't send electronic products worldwide.

Although we don't get to see them wearing shorts and skintight tops when they compete, female athletes of The 2010 Winter Olympics sparked a great deal of interest in February. In particular alpine skiers, curlers and figure skaters, among others:

Laetitia Casta demonstrated the most desperate cry for attention at the 35th Cesar Film Awards in Paris by wearing a see-through top that didn't leave much to imagination.
Maybe she should take some advice from

It's that time of the year again, when I take a look at the top news articles, stories, sex tapes, leaked photos and tweets that had something to do with celebrity nudity.
As always, there's lots to write about, but sorting and presenting the most interesting posts of the year always poses a problem for me, since I never know which metrics to use for the most interesting posts.
I mostly focused my work on my Nude celebs in HD posts, and slightly neglected other important breaking stories involving celebrities in compromised positions, but tried to present all the important daily headlines in the links of the day section.
Now, that I went through all the logs for 2010, I noticed that I should probably spend more time on latest celebrity scandals than posting old HD caps, since those rare scandals that I did write about, generated far more page views than my HD caps. And if you're listening to marketers, page views are all that count.
Anyway, here's a look at top nude celebrity stories of 2010. I compiled this list by looking at the view counter of the hottest topics at celebfans forum in 2010.

Avatar and January's issue of Playboy magazine came out about the same time. One thing they had in common were CGI drawn characters. Avatar featured alien female warrior Neytiri in the image of
Zoe Saldana and Playboy featured
Tara Reid in an alien image to everyone who knows how Tara's boobs and the rest of her body really look like.
Photos from behind the scenes photo shoots were also making rounds around the web in January. One was from a photo shoot Ashley Green did for the 2010 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition and the other one was by Caprica star
Alessandra Torresani for Maxim magazine.
I could probably put British model, and hottie from the upcoming Transformers 3 movie,
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in the same category. She was topless in DT magazine and later, we also got to see some additional behind the scenes topless shots of Rosie.
With all the private photos and sex tape leaks in 2010, I was surprised that
Carrie Prejean's sex tape wasn't among them. Maybe some gay activist will still holds a grudge and will release it in the future. To escape from the spotlight for a while, Carrie went to Hawaii and all we got was a lousy nip slip.
Model
Kate Moss was caught topless by paparazzi photographer while relaxing on another side of the Planet, more precisely in Thailand.
Also caught by paparazzi was
Lindsay Lohan, wearing a see-through top. I don't think
her 2010 New Year's resolution, to move forward and leave bad people, habits and negative energy behind, turned out like she hoped for. Only place she was moving in and out were rehabs, court appointments and jails. Hopefully her 2011 will be less turbulent.
Gladiators and abundant amount nudity turned out to be a winning combination for Starz network.
Spartacus: Blood and Sand ruled with gladiators in bloody fights and nudity on the small screens from January to April.
