Scarlett Johansson makes her nude debut on film in Under the Skin. She has several nude scenes in the movie, unfortunately they are all filmed in very artistically way with use of back-lighting, dimmed lights and shadows, so there’s a slight feeling of disappointment in the end when you realize that Scarlett has better lights at home in her bathroom and bedroom than on a professionally lit movie set.
Not too many people will see Scarlett’s nude debut though. The movie will be released in limited release, this week in movie theaters in New York and Los Angeles and then it will slowly expand to more cities by the end of the month.
There’s no news about a VOD release. I found an article saying that Amazon acquired exclusive subscription rights for Under the Skin, so it will probably be released through their VOD service first once the movie ends its run in movie theaters.
Hayley-Marie Coppin and
Claire Viville are topless in Dom Hemingway. There’s no nudity from Game of Thrones star
Emilia Clarke.
Second part of Nymphomaniac features some more explicit nudity from
Charlotte Gainsbourg and
Stacy Martin.
Halle Berry has a brief boob flash in Frankie & Alice. You’ve probably seen photos from that scene already in the form of paparazzi snaps from the set of the movie from a couple of years ago.
MPAA rating also mentions nudity in the upcoming comedy Neighbors. The movie premiered at the South by Southwest Film Festival a month ago, but there are no reports of who gets naked in it. Graphic nudity tag from the rating would suggest male nudity, but with
Chasty Ballesteros and
Ali Cobrin among the cast, thre's hope for some female nudity as well. Chasty’s most recent nudity is from TV series Ray Donavan and Ali had a memorable nude scene in American Reunion a couple of years ago.
