Here's a list of some interesting celebrity appearances on talk shows this week.
Toni Collette will be guest on Tavis Smiley tomorrow. She stars in Hostages, a new drama series which will premiere on September 23rd on CBS.
In the series she will star in the role of Ellen Sanders, a surgeon who's due to perform a life-saving operation on the president of the United States. However, mysterious FBI agent Duncan Carlisle (Dylan McDermott) wants the president dead, so he takes Sanders' family hostage, threatening to kill all of them, unless Sanders kills the commander in chief during the surgery.
Actress
Brie Larson will be guest on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson on Wednesday. She stars alongside Joseph Gordon-Levitt and
Scarlett Johansson in Don Jon which will be released on September 27th.
Gordon-Levitt plays a sex addict in the movie. The lead actress will keep their clothes on, but we might get something from the supporting cast.
Antoinette Kalaj, who also stars in the upcoming Riddick movie, is reportedly topless in Don Jon.
Aisha Tyler will be guest on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno tomorrow. She recently published her book Self-Inflicted Wounds: Heartwarming Tales of Epic Humiliation in which she recounts a series of epic mistakes and hilarious stories of crushing personal humiliation, and the personal insights and authentic wisdom she gathered along the way.
Jennifer Hudson stars in the role of Winnie Mandela in the biographical drama Winnie. Terrence Howard plays Nelson Mandela. You’ll probably find out more about this movie during her appearance on Live with Kelly & Michael on Thursday.
Jennifer has another movie coming out in a month or so. The drama The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete, which is about two inner city youths, who are left to fend for themselves over the summer after their mothers are taken away by the authorities.
