Lucy Liu is another assistant to the lead character who is slowly rising up in popularity these days. And she's assistant to none other than Sherlock Holmes. She plays Dr. Joan Watson on CBS' new TV series Elementary. I'd figure they would cast her to play Irene Adler, since she does have expert knowledge of whips and bondage, from Payback if I remember correctly.
