Rooney Mara will made her nude debut this week. It was quite obvious right from the beginning, when the first posters for The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo were released with topless Rooney, that the nude scenes from the original movie will probably stay intact in the Fincher's remake. Right so.
Those who have already seen the movie are quite happy with the amount of nudity on Rooney's part. Two sex scenes with Daniel Craig, with her butt, boobs and bush exposed, and a lesbian make out in a nightclub are considered to be the best parts. But there's even more nudity, more graphic and intense, something in the line what we expected to see in Straw Dogs remake, but didn't.
It looks like this movie will be a springboard for much bigger roles for Rooney, which probably means no more nudity from her in the near future. Next year she is set to star in an untitled thriller opposite Tom Hardy and Guy Pearce and in 2013 she'll star in the drama Lawless alongside Ryan Gosling and Christian Bale.
Another movie were you can probably see some boobs this week, judging by the R rating for nudity, will be
Angelina Jolie's In the Land of Blood and Honey. But don't raise your hopes and think it will be Angelina's boobs. She was behind the camera all the time.
