The 2012 Pirelli calendar was presented to selected guests and collectors a couple of days ago in New York City.
For the first time in history an Italian photographer was chosen to capture the beauty of world's famous models and actresses. The honor belonged to the fashion photographer and director Mario Sorrenti, who chose Corsica as the setting for the calendar photo shoot.
The twelve beauties, who were chosen to grace the pages of the 2012 calendar, are
