One last time we are going to see
Emma Watson in the role of a skilful wizard in a Harry Potter movie, before she moves on to other interesting movie projects, which will hopefully also include some nudity on her part.
Next year we'll see her alongside Logan Lerman,
Nina Dobrev,
Mae Whitman and Paul Rudd in The Perks of Being a Wallflower. The movie is based on
Stephen Chbosky's book The Perks of Being a Wallflower, incidentally Chbosky' also directed the movie. So, I got myself a copy of the book, and went through it to see if Emma's character would have any interesting parts in it. Turns out that if the director would stay true to the book, we'd see Emma naked in it, albeit only in a dream sequence:
"I had a weird dream. I was with Sam. And we were both naked. And her legs were spread over the sides of the couch. And I woke up. And I had never felt that good in my life. But I also felt bad because I saw her naked without her permission."
Dream or not, It would still be cool to see her naked. But, I don't think it's going to happen just yet. Emma talked about her role in The Perks of Being a Wallflower while promoting the latest Harry Potter movie and all she mentioned was a scene when she's in a corset trying to mimic
Susan Sarandon in the
Rocky Horror Picture Show.
One other interesting trait Emma's character possesses: she's referred to as a "blow queen" by
Nina Dobrev's character. Talking about Nina, she's also naked in the book:
"And I opened the door to the basement, and my sister and this boy were naked. He was on top of her, and her legs were draped over either side of the couch. And she screamed at me in a whisper.
“Get out. You pervert.”"
Another character showing her boobs in the book is Mary Elizabeth, played by
Mae Whitman.
All in all, lots of nudity in the book, hopefully some will make it into the movie. We'll see next year.
