Sunday, February 12thMore4, 10.10pm - Scandal
Joanne Whalley and
Bridget Fonda in the story of the Profumo affair, which took down a government. Pity though, that with a film about a story as explosive as this was, it depends which version is shown and then you have to contend with the dreaded use of "body doubles".
Also shown an hour later on More4+1, Channel 4s new service, plus again on both these channels on Friday night.
Monday, February 13thArtsworld, 1.10am - Lady Chatterley
All that, in stark contrast to the classic DH Lawrence story, adapted here in the early 90s by Ken Russell and featuring very steamy performances by Sean Bean and the beautiful
Joely Richardson. This being the second of four parts, you'd better catch up quick!
e4, 9pm - Smallville
Our story so far ... First, I tell you Smallville is Super-sexy, then I take the show to task for not being sexy enough in a scene, then - in another scene - the show restores my faith in it! At the same time, I say don't make comparisons to Buffy, then I make a comparison to Buffy, but advise you to still take Smallville on its own merits, then last week - for one episode - they do a Buffy/Vampire orientated show! So, in conclusion, SMALLVILLE is SEXY, which is what I said to begin with, er...I think! As for forthcoming episodes, no space left on this subject this week so all the more reason for you to tune in and find out for yourself!
e4, 10pm - The Gift
e4 actually had the balls last week to prom this on air that
Katie Holmes gets her breasts (or words to that effect!) out and displayed a picture from the film, available in full from nudography, of her topless and only in her panties, but covered over her nipples! Tongue in cheek, yes, but darn it! Don't you just love public service broadcasting like that! Therefore, leaving me speechless for a change, which, in all seriousness, at the end of the day, such a scene should do. Catch it again on e4+1, plus also, yet again, on both channels on Friday night.
Friday, February 17Sky Movies 1, 8pm - Alfie
The night for the Sky Movies 1 premiere of the new version of Alfie. The classic sixties version starred the brilliant Michael Caine. Jude Law is the womanising character in this remake, which features ...
Sienna Miller!
