Judging by some photos from the set of David Fincher's The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo,
Rooney Mara drastically changed her appearance for the role of computer hacker Lisbeth Salander.
But Jet black hair, bleached eyebrows and a lip piercing are apparently just the tip of the ice berg. According to some sources close to this movie, Fincher wants Rooney to look and act just like the character described in the novels.
So, if the deep throat is not making things up, Fincher also wanted Rooney to wear nipple piercings for her nude scene.
Interesting. That would make the remake even more authentic than the original Swedish movie, since I don't remember
Noomi Rapace, actress who played Lisbeth Salander in the Swedish version of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, having any nipple piercings.
The sad part is that we'll have to wait for another year to see if the pierced nipples rumor is true. Fincher's remake is set to be released in December 2011, more than a year from now.
