Another busy year behind those of us tracking celebrity nudity on Blu-ray discs and HDTV streams.
Through the 2009 I posted caps and video clips from over 150 different titles containing nudity, twice as many titles as in 2008. With so many new and old titles being released on Blu-ray on a weekly basis, it's getting really hard and very time consuming to filter out the ones containing some good nude scenes.
HDTV is also one of the main sources for quality HD content. Most of the TV series air now in HD, but when it comes to movies, I often get the feeling that we are served regular DVD quality movies upscaled to HD.
I would like to see some of the classic movies with great nudity like Embrace of the Vampire, Mischief, Showgirls, Poison Ivy 3: The New Seduction, The Hot Spot or Sirens to be re-released on Blu-ray, before some HDTV network decides to put the regular source through one of their upscalers and sell it to us as HD.
Final numbers for 2009 come to over 1500 HD vidcaps and over
450 celebrity video clips.
