It must have been some kind of wired planet alignment going on in May 2009 of which astronomers weren't aware of, but made wonders for those of us collecting everything that has something to do with nude celebs.
It was a close call between
Jessica Biel's nude scene in
Powder Blue and
Rihanna's
leaked nude photos, but at the end Rihanna won the duel by generating slightly more interest.
Singer
Cassie Ventura was another victim of
leaked nude photos in May. Someone apparently hacked into her computer and posted a few photos on the internet.
Third celebrity photo leak in May involved Miss California
Carrie Prejean. Carrie obviously stepped on someone's toe by vigorously defending her stance expressed during Miss USA pageant that a marriage should be between a man and a woman.
Topless photos from photoshoots she did as a model started appearing on the internet in May. Since that didn't shut her up, rumors of
several sex videos she made for her boyfriend started appearing in November.
Reality show contestant
Nicole Alexander - Hoopz was about to join the ranks of
celebs with sex tapes, but because she didn't sign the release form, her sex tape release was put on hold indefinitely. So sex tape collectors had to be satisfied by a minor
sex tape scandal involving Philippine actress Katrina Halili.
Plenty of celebs stripped in movies. Powder Blue with Jessica Biel topless and
The Devil's Tomb with
Holly Weber nude went straight to DVD.
Moon Bloodgood nude scene in Terminator Salvation was cut from the theatrical release, but saw the light of the day with the
director's cut release on DVD.
Moviegoers that wanted to see boobs on the big screen were thus left to choose between

Shannyn Sossamon topless in

Charlotte Gainsbourg naked in Antichrist.
