A couple of events you might want to add to your celebrity watch list over the weekend.

First one is Miss World Competition that is taking place in Johannesburg, South Africa on Saturday. According to betus.com Miss Russia is the favourite to win this year’s competition following by Miss Mexico, Miss Spain, Miss Ukraine and Miss Trinidad and Tobago.

Another event is Spike TV’s 2008 Video Game Awards show. Spike TV is hosting its annual Video Game Awards this Sunday. The event, honoring the best in video games, is coming to you live this year on December 14th at 9pm.

Kristen Bell won last year’s Hottest Newcomer award.

Other celebs shining on the red carpet last year were Heidi Montag, Tia Carrere, Tila Tequila, Vida Guerra and Rachel Bilson.
