In the series Sofya portrays Rita, a friend and a former classmate of the main heroine and has a love affair with the heroine’s father.
You can’t really tell from the clip here, but later in the episode it is shown that she is already pregnant. Not much later she’s also confronted by the lover’s wife and apparently arranged to be sent to Italy… Lots of excitement for one episode. Give the writers of the series to work on Pluribus, and they solve the mystery in two episodes.
