In the series Rose portrays Vivian Scully, the daughter of Barton Scully, the provost of Washington University and the boss of Dr. William Masters. Vivian becomes significant because she’s involved in a romantic subplot with Dr. Ethan Haas, who was previously involved with Virginia Johnson.
