Making caps from Spartacus: Blood and Sand reminded me of why I don’t watch any new series anymore. You’d think camera technology advanced in the last ten years, but watching any new series makes me doubt that. Everything around main subject is out of focus or blurry. Noticed it on Star Trek, Star Wars, Mandalorian, Ashoka... I don’t know if they do this intentionally or not, but it takes me out of the story and all I see is camera imperfections. Included some non-nude caps for comparison. Not the most obvious blur example, but noticeable, and with time it gets irritating . At least to me.
