On September 29th Netflix will releases The Empress, a German historical drama series starring
Svenja Jung in the role of Elisabeth von Wittelsbach, Princess of Bavaria, and the sister of the woman Emperor Franz Joseph of Austria-Hungary is to marry.
Another historic drama will be released on Starz network on September 11th. The Serpent Queen, starring
Samantha Morton in the role of Catherine De Medici. The series is rated TV-MA, for mature audience, but judging by a trailer mostly for violence, dark humor and not so much for nudity, although z trailer for the series hints at some nudity when the young Catherine, portrayed by
Liv Hill, catches a couple in the act.
