After seeing Ilona in
Revolver and
La liceale, I decided to check some more of her mainstream work in movies.
Incontro d'amore was made in 1970, so imdb has it down as her first movie role. But when reading about the movie, I found out that her scenes were added five years later for a new edit and release of the movie.
Part of the movie was filmed in Bali, so it includes a few exotic locations were locals performed their rituals and ceremonies. There’s a scene with a
Kecak dance performance, you might remember it from documentary Baraka, beside the chilling monkeys. Not sure how, but a few days after seeing this movie, I stumbled upon a
European version of this dance, if anyone is interested.
