You might remember Julia from A Good Day to Die Hard movie. Actually, I kind of forgot her role from the movie, but I still remember her from a trailer/teaser for the movie, as she hops off a motorbike and unzips her top… mainly because the part, when she unzips her top, never made it in to the movie. I guess one muffled Yipikaye… line and a little bit of cleavage is enough to get you an R rating for the movie, so one of these scenes had to be cut.
Krovavaya Barinya tells the story of Darya Nikolayevna Saltykova, a Russian noblewoman from 18th century, who became notorious for torturing and killing more than one hundred of her serfs. Saltykova has been compared to the earlier Hungarian "Blood Countess", Elizabeth Báthory, who committed similar crimes, but in even greater numbers, in her castle against servant girls and local serfs.
So, there weren’t any violent video games back then, no TV, no movies, no heavy metal, no rock and roll, no comic books no Dungeons and Dragons, ok there were dungeons… So, who or what did they blame for these crimes back then? Where they just mentally ill or perhaps inbred. I see there’s an ancestry graph on Elizabeth Báthory’s
wiki page. Probably someone wanted to prove that inbreeding wasn’t the reason for her behavior. So, bat shit crazy then.
