Mimi made her movie debut in Wes Craven’s movie Swamp Thing in 1982 under her maiden name, Mimi Meyer. Her next movie role followed a couple of years later in A Nightmare on Elm Street, another Wes Craven’s movie, but under a new name, Mimi Meyer-Craven. The couple got divorced in 1987with Wes Craven stating in interviews that the marriage dissolved after he discovered it was no longer anything but a sham.
