Saoirse Ronan stars alongside Diane Kruger and Rachel Roberts in The Host. She was born in US, but imdb and Wikipedia say she’s Irish. Hopefully, Catholic upbringing won’t deter her from taking on riskier roles the future. I checked the database for Irish actresses and there are a few who didn’t have problems with nudity on film, hopefully she joins the ranks someday.
Eva Mendes stars in The Place Beyond the Pines. There’s no nudity in the film. She does have one interesting movie in pre-production though. It’s How to Catch a Monster, written by Ryan Gosling, who will also be directing it. Since Eva and Ryan are currently dating, it will be interesting to see if he is also among those directors who like to film their better halves naked.
