The new Lara Croft
TopShop sales girl Karima Adebibe is the new face - and body - of Lara Croft. The 20-year-old from Bethnal Green was the final winner of a global search to find a roving ambassador for the launch of the new Tomb Raider game, and will now have to endure a gruelling training programme, including courses on SAS survival, combat and semi-automatic weapons firing, to make her ready for the role. And yet she already has "all the assets needed to portray the world's favourite female action hero", says Matt Gorman, Tom Raider brand controller.
