Even though she recently moved out of the Playboy mansion and out of Hugh Hefner's romantic life,
Holly Madison still managed to land herself on the cover of the said magazine. She's been slated to appear on the February issue, while her co-stars of The Girls Next Door,
Bridget Marquardt and
Kendra Wilkinson will also be getting their own share of the glory. All three ladies are all set to get their own covers that month, in a special three-version release.
Holly Madison surely isn't new to this, since she's already been seen on the cover of Playboy thrice. However, her upcoming appearance will be the first in which she doesn't appear alongside the other Girls Next Door. She said she was both “proud” of the pictorial, as well as “excited” for its launch.
She didn't just pose for the cover too. Holly Madison said, “I directed and produced the shoot. I'm really proud of that … I'm just excited to have shot and produced the shoot myself.”
The photographs were taken in Los Angeles, specifically at the L.A. Theater. Since Holly led the shoot, she picked out her preferred venue. “It's my favorite place as a location,” she said. “It was a lot of fun.”
According to Holly, the photos were produced several months ago. The process went on long before she parted ways with Hugh Hefner. “We actually shot it in July,” she explained. “It was back before I got conservative.”
But her appearance on the cover will still make heads turn. The 28-year-old celebrity wore a black rhinestone-studded bikini for the February Playboy issue. The inside pictorial though, would hold more excitement for avid subscribers. Readers will see Holly Madison in “red ruby slippers and not much else.”
Busy spending time with boyfriend Criss Angel, Holly has been seen enjoying her vacation from The Girls Next Door and break from Hugh Hefner. Her other co-stars have their hands full as well, with Marquardt set to host her own show for the Travel Channel and Wilkinson thrilled about marrying Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Hank Baskett.
“We'll always have things to do,” Madison admitted. “I'll always have time to spend with Bridget and Kendra … they'll always be part of my life.”
