British singer
Joss Stone is to take a break from her music career after landing her first major movie role playing a lesbian theme park entertainer. The 20-year-old's first foray into acting was in 2006 when she was cast as a witch in fantasy epic Eragon.
However, Stone has now been given the chance to take on a more high profile role in quirky British comedy Snappers, which will see her character indulge in a "long, lingering French kiss" with a woman. And the star is convinced her new project may shock some of her fans.
She says, "There are things that are going to really push the boundaries - and that excites me!"
