Pete Wentz Denies Tape Rumour
Pete Wentz has set the record straight over reports that a sex tape starring the Fall Out Boy frontman has surfaced on the web.
The bassist was reported to have been the latest celebrity caught up in a sex tape scandal after explicit footage was posted on video-sharing website, YouTube.com.
However, Pete - who is dating mime artist Ashlee Simpson – has explained that the love-making is not for real but a clip from his film short, Goodnight Moon.
In a statement posted on Fall Out Boy's website, he says:
"Just wanted to put the word out on the streets/the internet. there is no pete wentz sex tape in existence. About a year and a half ago I took part in an indie gore/horror short film as a favor to my friend nathan- called goodnight moon.
Either way im not into being an actor or having a sex tape either sooooooooo (sic), hopefully u can deal with it_."
