A couple of R rated movies with some nudity coming out this week. Crime drama The Empty Man is rated R for nudity and Borat Subsequent Moviefilm is rated for graphic nudity among other things.
Celine Buckens has a nude scene on tomorrow’s episode of Cinemax’s series, Warrior.
Icelandic actress
Anita Briem is topless on an episodes of Iclandic new series, The Minister.
Saoirse Ronan made her nude debut in movie Ammonite. Here’s a user submitted review:
I have literally just got home from watching Ammonite (2020) in a preview at my local cinema in association with the London Film Festival. It was a beautiful picture, from an artistic point of view, and it was a wonderful bonus to see rather more of Saoirse Ronan's body than I'd dared to hope for.
In the cut of the film that I saw, one can see:
- A brief but good and clear view of Saoirse's right breast, nipple and all, with a less focused view of her left breast. (In this shot, the camera pans to her face without a cut, and so, barring some clever image manipulation, a body double could not have been used.)
- A very poorly lit view of her crotch. (It is possible that a body double could have been used here, although I have no particular reason to believe that one was.)
- A well lit view of her bare buttocks. (Again, it's conceivable that this could have been a body double.)
I should also add that
Kate Winslet, still a fine specimen of womanhood well into her 40s, appears nude alongside Saoirse in all these scenes: the film is centered on their characters' lesbian romance. But this, of course, is a body which we've seen a fair few times before.
