Jack Nicholson convinced legendary director Martin Scorsese to include a three-in-a-bed sex session in their new movie - featuring himself, two girlsView the profile for Matt Damon on Celebrity Spotlight and a sex toy.
Nicholson, famous for his womanising ways, plays Mafia gang leader Frank Costello in 'The Departed' and was insistent the movie, as well having scenes of extreme violence, included details of the maniacal character's sex life.
And the 'As Good As It Gets' star was very specific as to how explicit the sequence should be.
He told Rolling Stone magazine: "I thought it would be more frightening if my character had a sexual component, so I called Martin up and said, 'Look, I just thought of what would be an interesting scene for my character - him having wild sex. And in this scene with two girls, one of the girls is wearing a strap-on. Nicholson recently revealed that he almost turned down a part in the movie because it did not have enough sex in it.
He said: "These kind of monsters usually don't have a sex life on screen, so I wanted to bring that to the part. He's a bad nut job so he's evil sexually too. Fuck 'em, kill 'em, you know."
In the film, which also stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Matt Damon, Nicholson plays the head of a Mafia gang infiltrated by an undercover police officer at the same time as one of the Mob members poses as a cop in the special investigation unit of the Boston police force.

Janet Jackson says her sex life was brilliant when she was fat.
The singer - who piled on a whopping 30kg for a role in new movie Tennesse, which she eventually had to turn down - revealed her lover, rapper and music producer, Jermaine Dupri, still found her sexy despite the extra weight.
Janet, the sister of pop superstar Michael Jackson, insists Jermaine was
insatiable when she was heavier.
She told Britain's Grazia magazine: "Not once did he make me feel
uncomfortable. He'd grab me, pull me around the stomach, look me in the eyes and say, 'This needs love too!'
"I thought that was the sweetest thing. I've never in my life had love that was so unconditional.
"My weight never affected my sex life. Nothing changed, nothing!"
The 40-year-old star is convinced she has found The One in Jermaine, and is confident they will spend the rest of the their lives together.
She added: "I really don't see myself with anybody else. This is it."

Actress Sadie Frost unveiled her naked portrait today as she launched an anti-fur campaign.
The celebrity bared her bottom for an advert for animal rights organisation Peta as London's Fashion Week got under way.
Frost, 41, a strict vegetarian, posed with her naked image in Covent Garden, central London.
The advert was shot by rock star Bryan Adams and features the
actress-turned-fashion designer peering provocatively over her shoulder
next to the tag line: "Turn Your Back On Fur".
The actress said: "Peta's anti-fur campaign is basically about turning your back on fur.
"Through doing the naked photo, people will hopefully stop and look at the campaign."
Commenting on the photo shoot, she said: "I was definitely a bit
nervous on the day but if you are around people you trust it's nice.
It's also a nice thing for every woman to have and it's something they
should have done at some time in their life."
But the mother of four, who co-owns the fashion label frostfrench
with childhood friend Jemima French, confessed to working out before
posing for the picture.
"I was doing six months of exercises before the picture was taken. I
was doing trapeze work, rock climbing, every known exercise to get a
pert bottom."

Rachel Bilson was scared to film sex scenes with Zach Braff in her new movie.
The brunette - best known for her role as ditzy Summer Roberts in 'The O.C.' - gets up close and personal with the 'Scrubs' actor in 'The Last Kiss', a remake of an Italian film.
Rachel claims it was "awkward" shooting the raunchy scenes because she and Zach didn't know each other very well.
She revealed to Cosmopolitan magazine: "I was really nervous because this was my first big sex scene. I play a temptress who pursues Zach's character. It was a little awkward, it was like, 'Hello, nice to meet you, let's get into bed.'"
The 25-year-old actress also refused to strip off for the sexy scenes - because she was afraid she would lose credibility as a serious movie actress.
She said: "The filmmakers wanted me to take everything off but I wasn't interested in doing that for my first role. They agreed in the end and there was no nudity, nothing too raunchy."

Gretchen plays the woman who grew up in a conservative religious family in Tennessee, only to become a famous pin-up girl and Playboy centerfold.
Essentially, The Notorious Bettie Page is a film about just how much the world has changed in the last 50 years.
Although tame compared with what is available at the click of a
mouse button nowadays, the under-the-counter bondage movies and
pictures which 1950s erotic icon Bettie Page featured in during her
career were explosive stuff, even prompting a McCarthy-esque Senate
inquiry into how they might corrupt the nation's youth.
It is that witch-hunt which provides the backdrop to this
entertaining story of Page's life, from her strict Southern upbringing
to her transformation into one of the world's first fetish queens, by
way of a string of unsuccessful relationships.
American Psycho director Mary Harron does a great job of evoking the
prim and proper morals of 1950s America where, we find out, even just
taking pictures of a woman entirely in the nude could get you slung in
jail.
Rising star Gretchen Mol gets to grips well with her character,
transforming her from a bubbly but proper Southern gal into a vampish
dominatrix with, quite literally, the wink of an eye.
In this she is ably helped by a solid supporting cast of well-known
character actors, including the excellent Jared Harris as a boozy but
roughly charming photographer.
David Strathairn's portrayal of Page's tormentor, Senator Estes
Kefauver, also contrasts nicely with his role as the crusading
journalist Edward Murrow in last year's 1950s-set hit Good Night and
Good Luck.
Despite nods towards violence and abuse in Page's early life, the film never strays too far from its lighthearted tone.
And although it never quite hits the heights of social satire it
aspires to, The Notorious Bettie Page recreates an old fashioned sense
of innocence and wonder about sex and voyeurism which, in this day of
smutty reality TV shows, is fast becoming a thing of the past.
The Notorious Bettie Page DVD will be released on 26th of September 2006.

Janet Jackson is determined to put her breast foot forward in the video for her new single,
So Excited.
The pop diva, who once shocked the world – nay, the universe – by accidentally bearing a breast at the Superbowl, has decided to repeat the performance in her latest offering.
But she never displays a nipple.
Somehow, one of the more stable Jacksons appears without clothes in a number of shots, but quickly and cleverly keeps her nude breasts under wraps.
Yet despite this innovative attempt at headline grabbing, not everyone is impressed.
"You'd think she'd have learned from that whole (Super Bowl) debacle. The girl just can't help herself," one naysayer neighed.

A private and revealing picture of Britain's late
Princess Margaret will now become available for purchase to the public. The picture, which was taken in the 1960s and shows the princess wearing a tiara in a bath, will go on display today.
Lord Snowdon, the princess' ex-husband has decided to include the image as part of a retrospection of his work, and 50 prints of the picture will go on sale for $2,500 each.
The intimate photograph shows Margaret - who died in 2002 - sitting in the bath, visible from the shoulders up, wearing just a tiara. Snowdon's barefoot can be seen reflected in the mirror behind the bath in the corner of the picture.
Queen Elizabeth, the older sister of Margaret, is thought to be unimpressed with Snowdon's decision to publicly display the photograph.
A royal source told Britain's Daily Mail newspaper, "I shouldn't think the queen will be very pleased about this. Not only is the setting of the photograph somewhat vulgar, but it seems to be something of a tongue-in-cheek look at her way of life. She in particular will be fairly offended by it."
Snowdon, 76, revealed that he took the picture in 1962 just before they went out for a "posh dinner"
He said, "She was so beautiful, very beautiful and great, great fun. I thought about keeping it private, but it is quite decent isn't it? It is more decent than somebody wearing an evening dress."
The photograph will be exhibited at a gallery in central London.
Snowdon revealed proceeds from the sale of the prints would go "into my pocket."
