In compiling Taschen's titillating new coffee table book,
The Big Book of Breasts, editor Dian Hanson pored over thousands of photographs of well-endowed women from the forties and fifties before settling upon a select few hundred. Here, we asked Hanson to turn her expert eye toward the present and name her favorite contemporary pairs.
Scarlett Johansson: "A fine pair of seemingly natural breasts of perfect shape. They're probably a large C or a small D, but they've got a youthful fullness and up-tilt."
Salma Hayek: "Probably a good D. Shapely, full, well-placed, and properly spaced."
Jessica Simpson: "She has a little more hang to her breast than some of these ladies, and that's attractive to people who like large breasts. Plus, she shows them off, and we've got to be proud of a girl who flaunts them."
Nigella Lawson: "A beautiful woman with an old-fashioned English figure. English women have been noted for decades for having superior breast development—I sometimes think it has to do with their dairy intake."
Rachel Dratch: "She has the biggest pair of undiscovered knockers on the American screen. Last night I was watching an old clip of her from Saturday Night Live when Ben Affleck was hosting, and when her head was turned, he would stare at her giant boobs. When men like really big breasts, they will look past other factors."

Music stores across America are refusing to stock Ice-T's new album because the cover features the rapper/actor posing nude with his stripper wife
Nicole Austin - Coco.
The album cover of Gangsta Rap, Ice-T's first studio album in seven years, shows him lying on his back in bed with his wife's curvy behind in full view and one of her legs coyly draped over his private parts.
And unless his record label places stickers over the intimate images, the legendary rapper faces a music store boycott over his new cover.
Talking to the New York Post, Ice-T says, "What can I say, I have been doing these kinds of things for years.
"You should see the picture when Coco's leg is not there."

Former Saved By The Bell star
Dustin Diamond has stunned fans by choosing to take a cut of the profits from of his notorious sex tape instead of spending thousands of dollars trying to ban its release.
Diamond, who played nerdy Screech on the 1990s high school series, claims he wasn't looking for a second career when he filmed himself having sex with two women four years ago.
He tells American publication Us Weekly, "I'm not an adult actor. I did something stupid in private." Diamond, who is dating his manager, Jennifer Misner, claims he and some pals each made sex tapes as a joke. He says that someone leaked his tape, but insists he doesn't know who.
Although he initially threatened to sue, the 29-year-old has now decided to make a profit on the 40-minute sex tape, tentatively titled Saved By The Smell, which will be released next month (November 2006).
Diamond explains, "I thought, I can spend a fortune fighting this or I can try and make a fortune." He adds, "Let's just say, if I were a small man, it would be worse."

Former
Playboy playmate Alice Denham is all set to spill the beans about her raunchy romps with actor James Dean and novelists Norman Mailer and Phillip Roth, in her new memoir.
In "Sleeping With Bad Boys," Denham writes that Dean was a "tender and considerate lover" who instantly fixated on her size 36-DD breasts: "You're so huge for a small girl," he said. "Jimmy was a t - - man, and he loved to nuzzle . . . He was skilled." But the young star also had an Oedipus complex, once asking her, "Are you my mother? You are, I think. You look like her."
Denham also recalls that Mailer, one of her literary heroes, turned out to be a bit weird. At one party, Mailer and his second wife, Adele, stripped and began jumping up and down on a bed, with Adele trying to coax Denham to get naked, too.
"Norman was just square, no particular waist or pectoral definition, sturdy legs, large at the knees," and an "ordinary" sex organ.
When novelist Roth, who was married, hit on Denham, he didn't waste any time. "Roth was clearly a makeout artist. It was in his actions, his movement, and he was ever cocksure. Philip expected. Philip got,"
Denham writes. " 'Come here, baby,' he snarled as his shoulders and arms and flat athletic body . . . surrounded me in full athletic grope . . . Philip was a sex fiend." But Denham got turned off when Roth next suggested a threesome with his wife and then refused to listen to her as she tried to describe a novel she was writing. "Only the young and naive do that. I don't rap about it; I do it," Roth scolded her.

Former Friends star
Jennifer Aniston and a photographer she sued for snapping topless pictures of her, have reached an "amicable" agreement.
"It's a confidential settlement," E!Online quoted Aniston's attorney John Lavely, as saying.
"The matter was amicably resolved," the attorney added.
While Lavely remained tight-lipped about the details of the settlement, paparazzo Peter Brandt released a statement, saying Aniston agreed to drop her lawsuit against him on the condition that he would never try to cash in on photos.
The 37-year-old star sued Brandt last December after the shutterbug mailed out copies of the explicit photos to several celebrity magazine editors, along with shots of the actress canoodling with then-new squeeze, Vince Vaughn.

A photographer who took topless shots of
Cameron Diaz when she was 19 and subsequently tried to persuade her to buy them back for $3.5 million once she found fame, has lost an appeal challenging his conviction.
Last year, John Rutter was convicted of forgery, attempted grand theft and perjury relating to the offending photos, and he is currently serving up to a four-year sentence.
Rutter appealed for the conviction to be thrown out based on errors in his trial, but Monday a three-justice panel from the 2nd District Court of Appeal failed to agree with his argument.
Rutter photographed Diaz in 1992 posing raunchily in leather boots and fishnet stockings when she was a struggling model. The topless photos have never been published, Rutter has been banned from releasing either them or a video of the shoot.
The snapper testified during his two-week trial he gave the beauty two days to pay him for the photos before he offered them up to prospective buyers in 2003, but he insists he was not trying to blackmail the star, and maintains he was merely offering her first right of refusal.

Anyone who has seen
Christina Aguilera's Dirrty video clip could probably guess the singer is comfortable with her naked self, but apparently she is also comfortable enough to urinate in front of strangers.
The 25-year-old Beautiful singer confessed to Blender magazine that she has urinated into a bucket, while completely nude, in front of a room full of strangers during a costume change on tour.
"I'm very comfortable with my naked body," the blonde songstress told the magazine. "There's probably even some video of me peeing."
The singer, once known for her skimpy outfits and provocative dance moves, revamped her look this year, inspired by the red-lipped glamour of the 1950s.
"I watched tons of old movies. Marlene Dietrich, Marilyn, some Fellini. It was a real risk for me to go to this more glamorous place. But I wanted a different take on sexuality: more coy, more playful, more light, more tongue in cheek."
The platinum-selling artist also spoke about fellow singer,
Jessica Simpson.
"She said the sweetest things about my work. Women are so supercatty sometimes, but Jessica is supersweet and non-competitive. I sent her a big bouquet of flowers."

Five US, yet another new channel, has commenced launch proceedings for this week and with it will bring eventually - picking up on a story on nudography a few days ago - Shark (with
Jeri Ryan) and Vanished (
Rebecca Gayheart), already having a strong tie up with CSI.
It's the last of the "big five" to branch out. BBC1 and BBC2 with Three and Four now, ITV with 2, 3 and 4, Channel 4 - e4 and More4 and now Five with US and Life.
I think with the title you can guess its style of programming, but the big money, successful, "sexy" imports is a very competitive market over here with a strong spread across the channels. The OC, Smallville, Lost, Desperate Housewives and The Sopranos (Ch4 and e4), Prison Break (Five and Uktv Gold), Deadwood (Sky One) with Battlestar Galactica, Bones, Rescue Me and Nip/Tuck all due back soon ,Living tv - Veronica Mars, The L Word and Grey's Anatomy, itv2 - Supernatural and Entourage and Bravo (with Alias finished) looking for another winner. FX and abc have started up their own channels over here in just the past couple of years as well.
Basically, the days of horny teenagers the likes of Russ and Audrey Griswold popping over for a visit and switching on the afternoon test card for an amount of channels you could count on one hand and still have fingers left over, are long gone! It will therefore be interesting if Five US can increase its programming and pick up enough viewers, or say in a years time will it have to change its identity perhaps?
Elsewhere this week, on itv2, romantic comedy Pretty Woman (
Julia Roberts) on Tuesday at 9pm and the following night at ten, on the same channel, tense thriller Single White Female (
Bridget Fonda and
Jennifer Jason Leigh).
