Awards season it maybe, but sadly nothing
worth handing out for getting anything out on your small screens this week!
Yes, after plenty to choose from last week, it’s a bit of a quiet one.
It does, however, give me a brief
opportunity to mention a programme we didn’t quite have room for seven days
ago. Heroes arrived in the Uk on Monday night and with Ali Larter among its
cast it gave Sci-Fi Channel a spectacular figure - and I’m not just talking
about the ratings here! (I thank you!)
Unfortunately, itv’s new Saturday night
drama Primeval has taken a small dip in the ratings as it looks to find its
audience. This, after a promising start including cast member Hannah Spearritt
dancing around in only her underwear! You feel she has the ability to go on to
greater things than their answer to Torchwood - and hopefully wearing even less
too!
I’ve been really taken by Bones on Sky One
on Thursday nights and it’s just been given the "green light" for another
series in the US. However, glimpses of skin from one of its stars, Emily Deschanel who plays a forensic anthropologist, had almost disappeared off the
radar! There was some interest in the pilot and a bedroom scene later in series
one, but not much until last Thursday.
Emily not only showed a great change in
character, as she and her partner went undercover at trying to get to the
bottom of things at a Las Vegas fight club, but her wardrobe for her disguise
changed too and showed off her superb form to great effect.
Finally, for this week, fans of soft core
celebs should take note that Holly Sampson stars in Staying On Top (Sunday, Feb
25 at 1.30am on Playboy One.)

Poor
Jennifer Love Hewitt.
The 28-year-old may have wads of cash and a stunning physique - but she's still not happy.
She wishes audiences would take her seriously and stop judging her for her booty.
She told CNN: 'I get lots of offers to take off my clothes. But I can't. It's just not me.
'I feel like there's still a world full of people out there who think
there's not much more to me than the girl who can wear tiny tops.
'So if I had actually gone and done those things to try to prove something, where would I be?'

Sienna Miller has been photographed sunbathing topless on a Mexican beach with her new love model Jamie Burke.
The young pair were seen kissing and cuddling up during a holiday on the coast of Mexico, confirming rumours they are an item.
An onlooker said: "They were like a couple of love-struck teenagers."
Jamie, 21, is the son of a millionaire and has been romantically linked to Lindsay Lohan, Kate Moss and Courtney Love.
Sienna, 25, split from on-off lover Jude Law for
good late last year. Their relationship hit the rocks in 2005 when it
emerged Jude had been having an affair with his children's nanny.
While shooting 'Factory Girl', it was reported that Sienna was romancing her co-star Hayden Christensen.
In the film, in which Sienna plays artist Andy
Warhol's tragic muse Edie Sedgwick, the pair's sex scenes are so
realistic they sparked speculation Sienna and Hayden romped for real.
Sienna and Jamie were spotted kissing earlier
this month at the Gramercy Park Hotel in New York City. Neither party
has confirmed the relationship.

The Harry Potter star, 17, defended his decision to appear naked in a revival of Peter Shaffer's 1973 play earlier this month, after the promotional pictures for the show caused controversy among parents of young fans of the boy wizard.
But 24-year-old Christie is amazed by the amount of press attention Radcliffe has attracted, and urges critics to look beyond the raunchy scenes to see the meaning of the play itself.
She says, "I can't believe there are people saying he's a bad role model for children. He's an actor playing a part, and in the story he happens to have a relationship with a girl.
"The play is on school syllabuses. It's an amazingly interesting, complex story. It's not about nudity or sex. It's about a lot of very complex issues. When we do (the nude scene) in the context of the play it's really beautiful and natural.
"I expected some publicity because of Daniel but not stories and photos everywhere."

American Idol semifinalist
Antonella Barba's topless pictures surfaced yesterday. As if topless wasn't enough, one picture shows Antonella on the potty!

The most embarrassing picture is the one where Antonella is sitting on a toilet ready to do her.....well, we've all been there so there's no need to further describe.
BetCRIS.com odds makers initially believed that Antonella is an outsider, her opening odds to win are set at +2500* ($100 bet on Antonella would pay $2,500 should she win).
Her topless pictures will seemingly give Antonella some instant publicity but we will all have to wait until tonight to listen to Antonella sing....hoping she doesn't need to be seated on a potty to perform.

Studios filed suit in United States District Court against Perez Hilton, celebrity gossip and self-professed "Queen Of All Media," for publishing what the complaint refers to as stolen property, on his website. The property - a nude photo of
Jennifer Aniston taken from footage shot during filming of "The Breakup," which Aniston starred in with Vince Vaughn - showed Aniston, naked from the waist up, although in the complaint the nudity is not viewable, as her lawyers have pasted "REDACTED" over the offending breasts.
The lawsuit against Perez (real name: Mario Lavandeira), alleges the footage was stolen during production of the 2006 movie. The clip featuring the nudity was not shown in the final edit of the movie.
In the complaint, an injunction is sought which would bar further distribution of the picture, and also requests that all copyrighted material be seized from Perez Hilton. No monetary damage requests were specified.
In an email to http://www.thesmokinggun.com, Lavandeira wrote that he hadn't yet seen the complaint, and would be able to provide more information after his lawyers had reviewed it.
This is not the first time Perez Hilton and Jennifer Aniston have sparred. In the past, Hilton has mocked Aniston's looks, often referring to the actress as "Maniston." As well, this is not the first time nude photos of the former "Friends" star has led to a lawsuit. In December of 2005, Aniston sued a celebrity photographer over photographs he had taken of Aniston as she tanned outside her home.

Quick look at couple of TV shows with
frequent nude celebrity appearances.
This week’s L Word was very interesting nudity
wise. Sandrine Holt and Rachel Shelley decided to play a little strip poker
game. Sandrine had a lucky hand at the beginning,
forcing Rachel to remove her bra, giving us a quick view of her boob and
nipple. Luck quickly changed hands and at the end gave us a nice shot of
Sandrine Holt nude. If you like Sandrine then check out Rapa Nui, she’s pretty
much topless through the whole movie.
Jennifer Beals, Marlee Matlin, Katherine Moennig
and Kristana Loken are still humping each other like rabbits in heat. If you
like lesbians and their sex and other problems you should check out L Word on Showtime for
sure.
Sex will still get you far in Rome. Sometimes hard to id actresses
that appear nude in HBO's Rome TV series as they only refer to them as German sluts or
slaves but still Zuleikha Robinson and Kerry Condon were among the ones I didn’t
have to many problems with, although Kerry Condon did change her hair colour
from red to blond in this season.

Vanessa L. Williams will be naked again.
In
1984 Penthouse magazine published a set of photos she did in an explicit photoshot
back in 1982, showing Vanessa in several lesbian sex acts and not to forget
several close-ups of her private parts you’d only expect to see in a porn magazine.
Because of the photos she had to resign
as Miss America.

issue of Allure magazine titled “Look Better Naked”.

Scarlett Johansson has topped Playboy's annual 25 Sexiest Celebrities list.
The
22-year-old actress' "sensuality" and "beauty" saw off stiff
competition from Angelina Jolie, Beyonce Knowles and Pamela Anderson.
The
adult magazine writes, "Scarlett Johansson is the apex of beauty and
sensuality, from her porcelain skin to her fully feminine figure to her
mysterious charisma, which is at once palpable and indefinable."
While the magazine makes it clear that Scarlett is their sexiest woman, the other 24 beauties are listed in no particular order.
Other names to make it onto the sexy list include Jennifer Lopez, Paris Hilton, Carmen Electra and Jessica Alba.
Meanwhile,
Scarlett is being tipped to play adult movie superstar Jenna Jameson in
a movie adaptation of her autobiography 'How To Make Love Like A Porn
Star: A Cautionary Tale'.
Jenna, 32, revealed her admiration for the 'Match Point' actress last month.
She said: "We're looking at Scarlett Johansson. She's my choice. I think she's beautiful."

Daniel Radcliffe has impressed audiences and critics in his brave, adult role as Alan Strang in the play "Equus" where he has full frontal nude scenes with an actress onstage.
The Daily Mail reports that the boy wizard "truly impressed with a bravura full-frontal display that earned him a standing ovation."
Radcliffe portrays a stable boy being treated by a psychiatrist for blinding six horses with a hoof pick.
The threatre was standing room only for the preview performance, and three-quarters of the way through the second act, Radcliffe stripped down for a sex scene with his young leading lady,
Joanna Christie.
The Daily Mail reports that "there was no coughing, no muttering, just people holding their breath at the sight of a pale teenager engaging in a full embrace with a beautiful young girl."
The boy wizard took a big chance taking on such a complex and brave adult role at age 17, considering most of his fan base are pre-adolescent teens and children.
The show at the Gielgud Theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue was received well, critics and audiences praising the new run of scribe Peter Shaffer's 34 year old play.
The Daily Mail interviewed some attendees: "Suzanne Fournier, 16, and her friend Bethany Williams, 15, travelled from New Brunswick, Canada, with Bethany's parents," just to see Daniel in action.
Suzanne told the Daily Mail: "We came just to see the play and I loved it. I was quite surprised at how good Daniel was because I had been wondering if he could pull it off and he did. I must say he was very, very fit."
The Daily Mail reported that New York theatre producer Roger Berlind stated he would find a way to finance the show if they wanted to come to Broadway.
He told the Daily Mail Daniel Radcliffe was a "natural stage performer".
