Charlize Theron has an Oscar, a Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild award. Now she's
Esquire magazine's "sexiest woman alive."
Past winners of the title include
Jessica Biel,
Angelina Jolie and
Scarlett Johansson. The issue featuring Theron hits newsstands Oct. 16.
Theron talked with the magazine about growing up on a farm, her political interests and her work, including her latest movie, "In the Valley of Elah," a murder mystery set among U.S. troops newly returned from Iraq.
"I wanted to make the movie precisely because it evades formulas about guilt," the 32-year-old actress said. "I'm drawn to ambiguity."
Theron also candidly discussed her least favorite film, "Reindeer Games."
"That was a bad, bad, bad movie," she said. "But ... I got to work with John Frankenheimer. I wasn't lying to myself _ that's why I did it."
Theron won an Oscar for her role in "Monster." Her screen credits also include "North Country" and "The Cider House Rules."

French dark-haired beauty
Irene Jacob (41), whose sensitive style and versatile career on cinema, stage and music has earned a solid reputation among european art-house starlets, has pushed her own boundaries in nudity as she has performed raunchy erotic scenes for Paolo Franchi's "Nessuna Qualitá Agli Eroi" (AKA Fallen Heroes), her latest movie screened at the Venice Film Festival which caused some stir because of the explicit nature of its sex scenes.
As has been reviewed in several sites, this oppressive, intimate crime-drama about a businessman (Bruno Todeschini) and his wife (Jacob) harassed by a troubled sidekick (Elio Germano) with Oedipus complex gained no cherish reviews indeed, but was hot enough to distraught audiences by the high voltage of its eroticism at a level close to pornography, which has became an usual practice in several mainstream flicks since ground-breaker Breillat's "Romance" turned on the controversy in 1999.
Besides the male and female frontal nudity, the sex scenes are mostly focused in genitalia as seen during the love scene between the marriage, with a close-up shot of Irene's private parts while she is given oral sex by Todeschini, and there also is her dreaming sequence where she appears masturbating the young wannabe killer who has a crush on her. Subsequently, the large size or Germano's full erect talent was one of the most talked about issues over the feature presentation.
Filmmaker Paolo Franchi replied the large amount of criticism over the neverending discussion about how really necessary is the depiction of explicit sex onscreen:
"The sex scenes never are pointless because sexuality is a part of the psyche. There are deep values to find as much in the cunnilingus between Bruno and Anna, which essentially is a quest for the origins, as it does the masturbation that Anna makes to Luca, symbolizing a great anarchical rebellion against all autority in the power of the art depicted as an erotic delirium".

With “We Own the Night,”
Eva Mendes says goodbye to sweet-but-low-key onscreen romances with leading men such as Will Smith (“Hitch”) and Nicolas Cage (“Ghost Rider”).
In this thriller set in the 1980s, Mendes’ bosom-baring romp with Joaquin Phoenix is an eye-opening opening scene.
“I actually have no problem being nude. I was fully nude in ‘Training Day’ - like full frontal,” Mendes, 33, recalled. “But I wasn’t in a love scene while I was nude. When you’re in a love scene and you’re nude, it’s the most uncomfortable. You’re completely exposed.”
