According to Kate she used a body double because there was no nudity when she took the role, but afterwards they just kept finding reasons to get the character naked.
Kate does have a few sex scenes in the movie, which she filmed herself, but it is obvious that she used pasties, or more like body armor over her boobs, when she was filming those scenes.
I don't think the body double's name was ever revealed though.
