Reading through Maria Schneider
triva section at imdb, I got a feeling that making this film had to be one of the worst experiences in her life. It seems like Bernardo Bertolucci, the director of the movie, and Marlon Brando, the leading star of the movie took turns in exploiting her and her image to make a fortune while she was left with almost nothing.
Later in her career she turned down a couple of roles which would require her to strip naked, however she didn't want to be made into a sexy symbol so she turned them down.

I am kind of surprised that Pompeii is only rated PG-13. I honestly expected an R-rating, some explicit nudity, at least one topless scene from
Emily Browning and a full on disaster with the eruption of Pompeii, now, it looks more like no nudity at all and the only disaster it will be remembered for will be boxoffice numbers.
And to think that in the beginning I actually planned my vacation around this movie. I planned a trip around Italian coastline with the final destination point in Pompeii. Now I am actually glad I changed my mind and ended up on Grand Canaria instead. Though, I am still going to visit Pompeii one day… I am sure a place with 35 brothels, or 1 brothel per 71 adult males, is a place worth visiting.
I noticed that there’s already a HD copy of Blue Is the Warmest Color, starring
Léa Seydoux and
Adele Exarchopoulos. Officaly, it comes out on Tuesday on Blu-ray, DVD and VOD as well.

Hera Hilmar from Da Vinci's Demons, a British-American drama television series which presents a fictional account of Leonardo da Vinci's early adult life as an artist, inventor, idealist, and intellectual genius.
The series airs on Starz network and the second season of the series is scheduled to premiere on March 22nd.
In the series Hera stars in the role of Vanessa, a young woman whom Leonardo helped to escape from a convent. After that she earns her living as barmaid and model.

Laura Haddock from Da Vinci's Demons.
Laura had quite a nude streak on the first season of Da Vinci's Demons, five episodes in a row if I am not mistaken.
Hopefully, she’ll keep taking off her clothes during the second season as well. Judging by a trailer for the new season, three will be plenty of nudity during the second season as well, and it looks like a few additional female characters will be introduced, actually a whole tribe, along with the two leading ladies, Laura Haddock and
Lara Pulver.
Beside in Da Vinci's Demons, Laura will also star in a whole lot of movies this year. Guardians of the Galaxy is probably the most interesting one as its cast includes Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel¸

Anna was born in Finland. At the age of six she moved to Italy with her family. She started her career as a model. She first appeared on television in a commercial for an Italian bank in 1992. This helped her launch a film career, starting with Nel continente nero (On the Dark Continent) in 1993.
Beside Dellamorte Dellamore she was also nude in several other movies like L'affaire, S.P.Q.R. 2000 e 1/2 anni fa, Body Guards, but mostly this pales in comparison to nude photo shoots she did for various magazines or calendars. Not to mention numerous times when paparazzi photographers caught her topless on a beach.

With the first part of Lars von Trier movie Nymphomaniac coming out in March, I decided to educate myself on the subject by check out one similar title, the Spanish – French movie Diario de una ninfómana with Belén Fabra in the leading role.
Quite depressing to watch. I much more prefer stories from a friend of mine, and the stuff he does, to satisfy his nympho girlfriend. Does are hilarious… to listen to.

Here's a list of some interesting celebrity appearances on talk shows this week.
Kate Mara will be guest on Live with Kelly & Michael on Thursday. Probably to talk about the new season of House of Cards which was just released on Netflix. She did have a nude scene in one of the episodes during season two, or perhaps it was a body double when we see her character naked from the back, getting into the shower. I doubt she’ll reveal whether she filmed her nude scene or used a body double. We also see her topless in a photo, but that was most likely photoshopped.
Amber Heard will be guest on Late Show With David Letterman and Live with Kelly & Michael on Monday. She stars alongside Kevin Costner,
Hailee Steinfeld and
Connie Nielsen in the thriller 3 Days to Kill.
