Anne, who is best known for her role as Nikita in the film Nikita, portrays an assistant-turned-mistress to Jacques Darnay (Alain Delon), a thief who is wrongly convicted of stealing diamonds and the murder of a jeweler. He is sent to prison for eight years and when he gets out of jail, he begins the search for the stolen jewels.
