Choose wisely…

Laura Haddock …If you intend to watch Da Vinci's Demons, a new drama series about Leonardo da Vinci's early life, in the coming days.

The series is scheduled to premiere on Fox and Starz networks today, and will be probably available on VOD services as well. But the thing is, there’s nudity in it and, it looks like that some of the providers will air slightly censored versions, with blurred nude scenes.

I guess these networks aren’t yet familiar with the new FCC plans to relax TV standards for nudity and profanity in prime-time TV slots.

British actress Laura Haddock (The Inbetweeners Movie ) and Icelander Hera Hilmar are nude in the first episode of Da Vinci's Demons.

Sad world we live in. It's perfectly OK to show people getting killed by stabbing or gunfire anytime of the day but the naked female form is too much? Prude cunts should go back to the 13th century where they belong.

The FCC doesn't regulate the content of cable networks, like Starz. However, Fox, if you mean the broadcast network, their affiliates still have to watch out for the FCC.

which FOX are you talking about? I can't find anything about FOX (the United States network) airing this at all, censored or not. I get the New York City affiliate, and they had Kitchen Nightmares, and the news on from 8-10pm. Plus, I doubt Starz would give anything of theirs to FOX to air. Anyone have anymore info?

censored caps are from a vod rip, i don't know from which provider though. wikipedia says that the series premiered both on starz and fox, might be wrong entry. i'didn't research any further...
