As mentioned, Polly Walker portrays Atia of the Julii, the niece of Julius Caesar and mother of Octavian and Octavia.
In the first nude scene I posted, Atia used her body and charms to buy her son a new horse. Taking care of her daughter's future, played by Kerry Condon, is also high on her priority list. When the wife of Magnus Pompey, Ceasar's right hand, dies at childbirth, Atia offers him her daughter Octavia to become his new wife. Of course, before marriage takes place, Magnus has to inspect that everything is in order Octavia.
