Bosses at Miss Ultimo brand felt they had no choice but to fire
Peaches Geldof after topless photos of her emerged on the Internet a few days ago.
In a statement, a spokeswoman for Miss Ultimo lingerie said:
We have been in meetings all morning with regards to the stories that have surfaced over the weekend about Peaches and unfortunately we have no option but to terminate her contract. We are thus in the process of removing Peaches from the website and we are working with Debenhams to remove her visuals from all Miss Ultimo shops and window displays throughout the UK."
There are reports that
Georgia Jagger might replace Peaches in Ultimo's ad campaign.
The scandal that cost Peaches her job broke out last week, when 23-year-old artist Ben Mills claimed that the topless photos of Paches he posted on the internet were taken during a heroin-fuelled encounter with Peaches during Thanksgiving last year in LA.
