Alicia Vikander from En kongelig affare.
Alicia won the Rising Star Award in 2010 at the Stockholm Film Festival. Her acting talent, and fluent English, didn’t go unnoticed by bigger film studios in the US and she quickly landed several roles in big budget movies.
First such role was last year in Anna Karenina alongside
Keira Knightley. This week we’ll see her in The Fifth Estate opposite British star Benedict Cumberbatch.
For next year she has already four movies in production. In the drama Son of a Gun we’ll see her alongside Ewan McGregor, in sci-fi adventure Seventh Son she’ll star alongside Kit Harington, Jeff Bridges and
Julianne Moore. Then there’s a role in the superhero movie, Ex Machina, where the main character decides to better utilize his super power by becoming the mayor of New York City. And lastly, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., in which we’ll see her opposite Man of Steel, Henry Cavill.
So, a big year ahead of her. It doesn’t seem like there will be any nude roles though. Luckily, she was also
nude in Kronjuvelerna a few years ago.
