Actress
Rachel McAdams got too nervous when she showed up to pose naked for a new Vanity Fair photospread.
According to hollywood.com, McAdams' nervousness cost her a spot on the cover. She was invited to pose naked with British actress
Keira Knightley and
Scarlett Johansson but pulled out at the last minute. The issue's artistic director was designer Tom Ford.
Ford says: "She felt that she'd be fine with it and then she got there and she realised that she really wasn't, and that was fine... She just asked if she could be excluded from the cover."
He adds: "I said to them, 'When you are 70 you are gonna look back and say, 'Thank god for this picture - look how amazing I was'."
