I think I finally caught that dreaded flu virus. My health turned for the worst, but at least my mood turned for the better, when a postman delivered my copy of
Sante D'Orazio's new book Barley Private in the morning. Barley Private is a sequel to his book
A Private View.
The book consists of 299 photos, his hand written diary entries, notes and air tickets stubs. Photos are in large part outtakes from photo shoots Sante did with famous people for magazines like Playboy, Elle, Maxim, Rolling Stone...
My favorite parts of the books were
Eva Mendes' outtakes from a photo shoot for Maxim magazine,
Tricia Helfer's outtakes from Playboy's photo shoot and a nude photos of
Pamela Anderson that were taken in Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles in 2008.
His diary entries are interesting but very difficult to read, and I wish there would be more of them, because you finish browsing through the book in about two hours.
