Numbers two and three are also attractive blonde females, Canadian Pamela Anderson and American pop tart Britney Spears.
Britney has a rumored sex tape that everyone is looking for and Pamela Anderson has the famous Tommy Lee tape that likely helps her searches.
"Paris Hilton generated more searches than any other search term this year, as she consistently find ways to stay top of mind with web users," said Dean Tsouvalas, writer of The Lycos 50.
"People continue to search for more than just the infamous Paris Hilton sex tape. Whenever Paris makes headlines offline, search activity skyrockets for her online."
Attractive gals continue to prove that they hold all the search power, the article notes.
This marks the first time in the history of The Lycos 50 year-end list, that three women make up the top three most-searched terms of the year.
