Almost too late, but here‘s one more look at some interesting nude celebrity appearances from the past. All covers and articles are from Playboy magazines that were published in April.
Actress
Valerie Perrine had a topless pictorial in Playboy in April 1975. She first posed for Playboy in May 1972. Probably one of the reasons that she appeared in Playboy again was her performance in movie Lenny. In 1975, Perrine was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress and won the Best Actress Award at the Cannes Film Festival for her role as comedian Lenny Bruce's wife in movie Lenny.
Valerie Perrine’s first movie role was in James Bond movie Diamonds Are Forever, although she was among the uncredited actors.
Actress and model
Kristine DeBell was on the on the April 1976 cover of Playboy, photographed by Suze Randall. Kristine began her career as a fashion model with Ford Models and she is most famous for starring in an X-rated film version of Alice in Wonderland.
Bond Girl
Ursula Andress had a nude pictorial in the same issue.
Teri Weigel was Playboy’s Playmate in April 1986. According to her data sheet her ambition was to make it as a screen actress. She had small roles in Predator 2 and Married... with Children, but later she really made it big in porn industry. In 2005, Weigel was one of many porn actors inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame at the AVN Awards, the major industry awards show held annually in Las Vegas.
Model
Elizabeth Nottoli posed naked for Italian photographer
Roberto Rocco. Photos were published in Playboy in April 1994.
Finnish classical violinist
Linda Brava and American singer, songwriter, record producer, and label owner
Jody Watley both had a nude pictorial April 1998 issue of Playboy.
One last nude pictorial that kind of caught my eye was of
Rita Jenrette in April, 1981. She was married to disgraced former U.S. congressman John Jenrette. John is most famous for two actions during his days as a Congressman. First, he had sex with his then-wife, Rita Jenrette, behind a pillar on the steps of the Capitol Building. The comedy group "Capitol Steps" take their name from this escapade. Second, he was charged with and convicted for accepting a $50,000 bribe in the Abscam sting operation conducted by the FBI in 1980. Jenrette was sentenced to two years in prison, of which he served 13 months. He had not been videotaped taking bribes, as some of his colleagues had, but he was recorded saying he'd been given cash by an associate.
That’s it for April; make sure you check out Playboy’s new website or their free online web archive.
