"Girls Gone Wild" founder Joe Francis says he offered the call girl linked to former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer $1 million to appear in a non-nude spread for his magazine.
But after a check of the company's archives, Francis discovered
Ashley Alexandra Dupré had already shed her clothes for "Girls Gone Wild" as an 18-year-old while partying in Miami.
Francis says his employees then got to work on pulling the footage and plan to offer it on the Web site.
A company press release says Dupre found a "Girls Gone Wild" tour bus after getting thrown out of her Miami hotel in 2003. The company says she signed legal papers and spent a full week on the bus, filming seven full-length tapes which included nudity and same-sex encounters.
