British actress
Sienna Miller has been paid damages by The Sun and News of the World tabloids, which ran unauthorized nude photos of her.
The pictures were taken while Miller was filming the movie "Hippie Hippie Shake," co-starring Cillian Murphy, the BBC reported Friday.
Miller, who has also appeared in the films "Factory Girl" and "Interview," sued for invasion of privacy after the photos were published in October.
The newspapers, along with the Xposure Photo Agency, have paid nearly $76,000, plus legal costs, to settle the dispute and News Group Newspapers has agreed not to republish the photos and to delete all copies, Miller's attorney told the BBC.
The actress is also pursuing legal action against the individual photographer who took the snapshots.
